Tucson Series II Safety

Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)

LKA uses the front camera to detect lanes and helps prevent the vehicle from steering from the lane by adjusting the steering wheel position. (Elite & Limited models)

The FCA system automatically alerts and applies the brakes if the path ahead is suddenly obstructed by other vehicles or pedestrians. (AWD Elite and Limited models)

Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW)
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW)

BCW alerts the driver with an audible and visual warning about vehicles in your blind spots or vehicles approaching the rear of your car at high speeds. (Elite & Limited models)

RCCW helps to prevent collisions while backing out from perpendicular parking spaces by detecting and alerting the driver about cross-traffic vehicles passing the rear of the vehicle using side radars installed in the back. (Elite & Limited models)

Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go
Driver Attention Warning (DAW)

A brand new feature for the Tucson, Smart Cruise Control means you can relax whilst maintaining a constant speed, ideal for open road driving.  The Smart Cruise Control System adjusts the vehicle's speed to maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead and will even bring the vehicle to a complete stop. (AWD Elite & Limited models)

A driver protection feature which helps monitor driving patterns in order to detect reckless or fatigued driving and prevent potential accidents. The system analyses various vehicle signals such as steering angle, steering torque, vehicle's positioning in the lane and driving time. If the system detects inattentive driving patterns, an audible sound and message on the display panel will bring this to the driver’s attention. (Limited Models)
